“Changes in the environment surrounding agriculture and the association’s smart agriculture initiatives”
Zen-Noh is working on maintaining and expanding the production base as one of the pillars of measures to respond to the recent environmental changes surrounding agriculture. In particular, in the area of smart agriculture, we are using map information as a starting point to improve the environment and disseminate it with the aim of making cultivation management smarter.

Integrated promotion of strategy for sustainable food systems (MIDORI) and smart agriculture in NARO
To contribute to improving agricultural productivity while conserving the global environment, NARO promotes R&D for sustainable food systems and climate-smart agriculture, that is, strategy “MIDORI”, Japan’s strategy for sustainable food systems launched by MAFF.

Challenge for “Super” Smart Agriculture Based on Seeds of Engineering Wisdom
The lecture will provide an overview of Smart Agriculture R & E field, which has been constructed at Tokyo Institute of Technology since February 2022 as an education and research platform for smart agriculture. In addition, the application of Tokyo Tech’s engineering wisdom seeds to solve agricultural problems will be explored and introduced.
