2025.01.29　[Event Information] The 10th Super Smart Society Promotion Forum “Fusion of Ocean and Technologies to Innovate Super Smart Society: Pioneering Solutions for Global Issues “

As a maritime nation with vast ocean areas, Japan plays an important role in solving global issues through the sustainable use of marine resources and the conservation of the marine environment. Furthermore, in the pursuit of realizing a super-smart society, it is expected that Japan will utilize advanced technologies such as IoT, AI, and robotics to advance innovative initiatives in the marine field.

This forum will explore the progress of ocean technologies and potential for social implementation in anticipation of a super-smart society, with the theme of “Fusion of Ocean and Technologies to Innovate Super Smart Society: Pioneering Solutions for Global Issues.” Through lectures by experts in various fields, we will share policy issues and introduce the latest research results and technology examples for the observation and management of marine resources, their sustainable use, and the conservation of the global environment.

Through the sharing of diverse knowledge, we aim to provide a place where policymakers, researchers, and companies can obtain guidelines for building concrete initiatives for the future. We hope that this forum will be a major step toward solving global issues and contribute to the realization of a smart ocean.
