2023.12.18 [Report]SSS Matching Workshop 2023Fall was held.

The Super Smart Society Promotion Consoritum holds the SSS Matching Workshop twice a year as a venue for Tokyo Tech students to present their research results and ideas and to match them with the needs of the Consortium
partners.

In 2023, the first half of the workshop was held in June, and the second half was held on the following date.

Continuing from the previous event, this time the Seeds Round was held on the same day as the Seeds Round, in which students presented their seeds, and the Needs Round, in which companies presented their needs.

The workshop was attended by 41 students, 67 participants from 21 institutions, and 41 faculty members, for a total of approximately 150 people, making it a half-day workshop to deepen exchanges at length.

Seeds-Round

In the seed round, after a brief one-minute research presentation by a student, the 41 students were divided into the first and second halves for poster presentations.

Needs-Round

In the Needs Round, participating institutions gave two-minute introductions, followed by individual booths where each institution’s initiatives and actual equipment were displayed.

Networking

In the networking session, after a toast by Mr. Nakazaki of aiwell Inc., the participants were divided into tables for each of the four technical discussion themes to further deepen exchanges in a relaxed atmosphere while enjoying food and discussions.

Award

Finally, awards were presented to the three outstanding student presentations based on the results of voting by the Consortium Partners.
After the award ceremony, the workshop was successfully concluded with comments from Mr. Tadokoro of Mizuho–DL Financial Technology Co., Ltd.

Super Smart Society Promotion Consortium

Open Call for Membership

Tokyo Tech is newly launching a consortium to promote the realization of Super Smart Society (Society 5.0), and planning to develop future leaders who are capable of supporting the transformation to Super Smart Society.To accomplish this aim, Tokyo Tech is looking for highly motivated companies who wish to join this consortium and support this education program.
